TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer men and the Union women’s swimming & diving teams came away with impressive victories at the 2008 Liberty League Swimming & Diving Championships, hosted by Rensselaer. The Red Hawks complied 839 points for the win while the Dutchwomen 904.5 points, nearly 230 points better than the second place finisher.

Day One Concludes at League Meet

TROY, N.Y. – The Union men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams came out dominant in the first day of competition at the Liberty League Swimming & Diving Championships, hosted by Rensselaer at Robison Pool. The Dutchmen, which claimed victory in all five events on Friday, have 299 points heading into Saturday morning’s second session. The Dutchwomen have amassed 320 points and hold an 88 point lead over the University of Rochester, who sit in second place with 232 points.

Union Continues to Dominate In Session II

TROY, N.Y. – Through the second session of action at the Liberty League Swimming & Diving Championships, the Union men’s and women’s teams continue to lead their respective fields. The Dutchmen currently have 600 points heading into the final session while the Dutchwomen have 643.5 points for a dominating lead over Rochester, currently second with 458.
